"I highly recommend Dr. Rasmussen. As a patient, he has been great - explaining treatment plans and options. Update: I actually finished my Invisalign treatment and feel much more confident with smiling again.Recently, I brought my son in for an evaluation. Dr. Rasmussen further reinforced why I’m quick to refer new patients to see him. During the consultation, Dr. Rasmussen noticed that my son’s airway was restricted and that this could be leading to not only his palate being impacted, but leading to further complications if he didn’t get treated by an ENT. Dr. Rasmussen referred my son to an amazing ENT in the area to address the problem. After receiving treatment, my son is now able to breathe and sleep better. We are also noticing that the gap in his front teeth are beginning to close as well.Dr. Rasmussen and his team go the extra mile to ensure quality treatment and even improve your overall health."

She was very thorough in speaking out loud the next steps and what/why she was doing it and it was MUCH appreciated! As someone who gets nervous at dentists/orthos when not informed of the process, being provided the process verbally and what to expect really helps to alleviate that stress. "Y’all I have to share! Today my daughter got her braces out. I was speaking with the office staff, particularly the front office associate, and asking how she liked working here. The answer I got was just as I thought, so I begin telling her that the environment here is felt by us here as customers. The ethics that shined through the doctor, him being so personable, treating you as a person not just another patient/customer was not something you find these days. The whole office staff work fluidly together, and just all do their part never skipping a beat. Just the whole energy of the environment because of the efforts the doctors and the staff put into their work is felt from the moment you step in. "I’m 30 years old and have been waiting a lifetime for a confident smile. My sister is taking my nieces here for treatment and I gave it a shot because she is always telling me you don’t want them to remove teeth, my problem being overcrowding. At my consultation Dr. Ras said I don’t see it being a problem and if it is further down the line we can remove them, but let’s not jump the gun. I’m almost done with my treatment now and it hasn’t posed a problem. Every other consultation I had suggested they would have to remove four teeth.I love the confidence in the dr and the assistances! They also referred me to Fresh Dentisty and I’ve had a great experience there also!Clean, upbeat, and positive environment. Love Shaw ortho!"

Given that I had traditional braces twice in my life and since I’m an older guy, I was very hesitant about starting this process yet again. I chose the Invisalign process and it has been great. At a little over 5 months my teeth are the best they have been in my life. I highly recommend the Invisalign process to anyone seeking to improve their smile. From our intakes where Natalie and Dr. R walked us through the options, long term plan, and financial options with such patience, detail, and care to the actual application of our kiddo’s expander and now braces where Tanya and Valerie take time to walk us through every detail and every step of the process. Tanya even shared what sensations our kid was going to feel when cranking the expander, and Valerie took time to show us how to use the flossing tools so we would feel confident! "Our Family is so pleased with Shaw Orthodontics! My 9 year old son was referred to Shaw Orthodontist by his Dentist. We were able to quickly book an appointment with Dr. Rasmussen. On the day of my son’s appointment, we were made welcome in their office almost instantaneously. Natalie went over my son’s treatment plan and broke down the cost, something that I was worried about. The payment plan options were much appreciated!!! Dr. Rasmussen came in and spent time with us. He thoroughly explained the phase one treatment plan and took time to really make sure that I was comfortable and understood the process. My son got his braces put on that same day!Over the course of his treatment, my son had a few hiccups as far as a broken bracket and loose wires, due to eating harder foods that he wasn’t supposed to eat 😬. Holly was always able to squeeze us in and the team was able to fix the problem and get his mouth back to feeling more comfortable.1/26/23 Today my son got his braces off and we are thrilled with the results! It was hard to believe that my son’s teeth could change in such a short period of time. His new smile is such a confidence booster for himself. My child had a previous retainer from a pallet expansion, and the first day we went in to see Dr Shaw he was able to evaluate her teeth, remove the retainer and go ahead with braces that same day. They worked with my financial needs and helped me set up a workable payment plan.We’ve been in treatment with Dr Shaw’s office now for almost 2 years and they always do a fantastic job. The staff and techs are high energy and always friendly, and Shaw is very outgoing and funny. If a bracket breaks or a wire is poking, I’m able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time for my daughter. Shaw’s office is always going fun contests and prize drawings, and cool Instagram and FB contests. My kiddos treatment is nearing the end, so we’ll be sad to not see this doc anymore. He discussed options with me to correct movement after not wearing my retainer consistently. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a very, very warm welcome. You’re updated during your child’s appt. everything was very thoroughly explained by Dr Shaw and I could tell he was actually being genuine and cared about my son as a patient instead of a money sign. For me, that goes a long way. In addition, with our financial situation, Carrie was TOTALLY accommodating almost to where I had to question if it was real or not (again, they actually care about you as a patient)! "Both of our children have had their teeth straightened by Dr. Stinson. Our son had his first round of braces with a Dr. in Mansfield and we were so unhappy with the experience. A big, super fancy office filled with movie viewing rooms, video games and very unfriendly people (really expensive too). The doctor almost never spoke with us and he would not have said hello if I walked past him on the street. Dr. Stinson is wonderful and so is her staff.
