"This is the best orthodontic facility In the state of Texas. I am a 50-year-old patient there, who was a little embarrassed of my oral health, due to my mental health not being the best. During my first appointment here, I was embarrassed and frightened that anyone to look in my mouth so closely. Dr. Ramussen calmed all of my fears. I was shown nothing less than absolute kindness and understanding by Dr. Ramussen and his crew. Alexis, Magen, Natalie, Tanya, and Val have made my experience here simply amazing. "I’m 30 years old and have been waiting a lifetime for a confident smile. My sister is taking my nieces here for treatment and I gave it a shot because she is always telling me you don’t want them to remove teeth, my problem being overcrowding. At my consultation Dr. Ras said I don’t see it being a problem and if it is further down the line we can remove them, but let’s not jump the gun. I’m almost done with my treatment now and it hasn’t posed a problem. Every other consultation I had suggested they would have to remove four teeth.I love the confidence in the dr and the assistances! They also referred me to Fresh Dentisty and I’ve had a great experience there also!Clean, upbeat, and positive environment. Love Shaw ortho!"
"I’ve had a delightful experience with Dr Razz and his crew at Shaw. Given that I had traditional braces twice in my life and since I’m an older guy, I was very hesitant about starting this process yet again. I chose the Invisalign process and it has been great. At a little over 5 months my teeth are the best they have been in my life. I highly recommend the Invisalign process to anyone seeking to improve their smile. It’s fast if you wear the trays as directed. Furthermore, wearing the trays is not intrusive. I forget they are in most of the time.Highly recommend Dr Razz, his team, and the Invisalign process."

From our intakes where Natalie and Dr. R walked us through the options, long term plan, and financial options with such patience, detail, and care to the actual application of our kiddo’s expander and now braces where Tanya and Valerie take time to walk us through every detail and every step of the process. Tanya even shared what sensations our kid was going to feel when cranking the expander, and Valerie took time to show us how to use the flossing tools so we would feel confident! Natalie was always there to answer questions as they came in and helped us figure out the best financial option! And Dr. R is not up selling anything! He is looking at your kid’s teeth and telling you what is the best for your particular case. This is dedicated customer service with great care for each patient! "Our Family is so pleased with Shaw Orthodontics! My 9 year old son was referred to Shaw Orthodontist by his Dentist. We were able to quickly book an appointment with Dr. Rasmussen. On the day of my son’s appointment, we were made welcome in their office almost instantaneously. Natalie went over my son’s treatment plan and broke down the cost, something that I was worried about. The payment plan options were much appreciated!!! Dr. Rasmussen came in and spent time with us. He thoroughly explained the phase one treatment plan and took time to really make sure that I was comfortable and understood the process. My son got his braces put on that same day!Over the course of his treatment, my son had a few hiccups as far as a broken bracket and loose wires, due to eating harder foods that he wasn’t supposed to eat 😬. Holly was always able to squeeze us in and the team was able to fix the problem and get his mouth back to feeling more comfortable.1/26/23 Today my son got his braces off and we are thrilled with the results! It was hard to believe that my son’s teeth could change in such a short period of time. His new smile is such a confidence booster for himself. I can’t thank the Shaw Orthodontics team enough for your concern for Ivan, as well as for genuinely showing that you care."

"This place has been perfect to get my teen son on track to a better, stronger and beautiful smile! In the beginning of our journey, we went to 3 different orthodontists for quotes and treatment plans assessments(I'm big on 2nd and 3rd opinions) But Shaw won us! The only con for us was they are a little bit of a drive for us, but they were so helpful ,even when my son ran out of rubber bands they'd drop them in the mailand mail then to us, and the care was worth the traffic Lol. They have great attitudes and atmosphere And are very encouraging! My son's 2 year journey was just perfect and I'm so glad we went with you guys!Thank you so much!"

I am an outlier in the typical age group that seeks Orthodontia care being in my late 60's, but everything turned out extremely well for me.I had been told by a dentist that nothing could be done to straighten my lower front teeth and that I would "just have to live with them". Thankfully, I did not listen to this dentist and sought an appointment with Dr. Shaw.After about a year and a half of Invisalign, and a little cosmetic tinkering I was able to exclaim to Dr. Rasmussen that I looked thirty years younger! It sure likes that way to me.Also, their staff is very warm, friendly and professional. I could not have asked for anything more."

Their smiles look amazing and their confidence during these crucial ages has skyrocketed. I am extremely happy with Dr. Shaw and his entire staff. I (36) just started Invisilgn with Dr. Shaw. He has personally reviewed my scans and has taken a hands on approach to straightening my teeth. His level of attention supersedes the average Invisalign installer. "I could not go into the building with my daughter to get her invisiline fitting or whatever they call it due to Covid. They brought dipping dots to my car while I waited. So even if my daughter is unhappy with her experience, I still got ice cream!But for real, the staff is amazing and just as kind as can be.Now I haven’t met Shaw, so I don’t know if his or her hiring practices are to make up for what he/her is lacking socially or if he/her just hired the best he/her felt was fit for the job. "We are sooo so pleased with Shaw Orthodontics in Watauga. My child had a previous retainer from a pallet expansion, and the first day we went in to see Dr Shaw he was able to evaluate her teeth, remove the retainer and go ahead with braces that same day. They worked with my financial needs and helped me set up a workable payment plan.We’ve been in treatment with Dr Shaw’s office now for almost 2 years and they always do a fantastic job. The staff and techs are high energy and always friendly, and Shaw is very outgoing and funny. If a bracket breaks or a wire is poking, I’m able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time for my daughter. Shaw’s office is always going fun contests and prize drawings, and cool Instagram and FB contests. My kiddos treatment is nearing the end, so we’ll be sad to not see this doc anymore. Though I may consider Invisalign in the future for myself. I would definitely come here!"

"Gotta say. We had been to several different orthos for consults. Dr Shaw (our last visit thank god) was definitely the right choice. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a very, very warm welcome. You’re updated during your child’s appt. everything was very thoroughly explained by Dr Shaw and I could tell he was actually being genuine and cared about my son as a patient instead of a money sign. For me, that goes a long way. In addition, with our financial situation, Carrie was TOTALLY accommodating almost to where I had to question if it was real or not (again, they actually care about you as a patient)!
