"This review has been long overdue, but Dr. Shaw is the person to see for all things orthodontics in the DFW area. I transferred from another orthodontist in Pflugerville, who I barely got to see after my first Invisalign appointment because they relied on their staff. This is not the case with Dr. Shaw. He checked my teeth and made sure to see me every single appointment. He even cut my Invisalign treatment almost in half! Dr. Shaw and the rest of the staff are extremely personable and made me look forward to each appointment. The celebration after I finished my treatment was also incredibly sweet and a nice touch. My teeth are still holding up well almost a year later. Dr. Shaw is absolutely the only person for your ortho care needs in the DFW, and I do not regret making the trek from Plano one bit. I will be a life long patient."
"When it was time to put my kids in braces, I asked around for recommendations and Dr. Shaw came up a lot. I'm so glad I took the advice and took my kids to him!Teeth straightening can be a tough experience, but Dr. Shaw has done a great job with everything. One of my kids has taken longer than expected, with loosing teeth and growing causing some changes to the original treatment plan. Through it all, Dr. Shaw has always worked hard to take care of her. He never cuts corners, and he makes sure that even if things have to change or take longer, that the end result is still the great and desired results! I also have to say that he has always been kind and patient with my kids, one of whom gets a lot of anxiety at any appointment. Update: I actually finished my Invisalign treatment and feel much more confident with smiling again.Recently, I brought my son in for an evaluation. Dr. Rasmussen further reinforced why Iâm quick to refer new patients to see him. During the consultation, Dr. Rasmussen noticed that my sonâs airway was restricted and that this could be leading to not only his palate being impacted, but leading to further complications if he didnât get treated by an ENT. Dr. Rasmussen referred my son to an amazing ENT in the area to address the problem. After receiving treatment, my son is now able to breathe and sleep better. We are also noticing that the gap in his front teeth are beginning to close as well.Dr. Rasmussen and his team go the extra mile to ensure quality treatment and even improve your overall health."

Itâs located off of the I-30 service road in Greenville in between Walmart and Home Depot, next to the Shogun Japanese restaurant. Dr. Shaw and staff have done a wonderful job with this new office. "Update! They matched one quote we got for the expander and we stayed for braces!! Everyone there is so nice and Dr. Shaw is fun and really cares!! They had annual parties at a trampoline park for patients before covid. Sheâs 12 now and got her braces off today and weâre SO happy!! Lilly was super patient with my girl who could NOT stand the glue removal.We have only been there twice to get my daughter an expander recommended by the dentist. So far we love everyone there, the entire staff is incredibly sweet and fully answered all of my 8 year old and my questions. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is because they are quite a bit more expensive than other quotes I've gotten. I'm hoping we can afford to stay there to get my girls braces too."
