"When it was time to put my kids in braces, I asked around for recommendations and Dr. Shaw came up a lot. I'm so glad I took the advice and took my kids to him!Teeth straightening can be a tough experience, but Dr. Shaw has done a great job with everything. One of my kids has taken longer than expected, with loosing teeth and growing causing some changes to the original treatment plan. Through it all, Dr. Shaw has always worked hard to take care of her. He never cuts corners, and he makes sure that even if things have to change or take longer, that the end result is still the great and desired results! I also have to say that he has always been kind and patient with my kids, one of whom gets a lot of anxiety at any appointment. But Dr. Shaw is always kind and does a good job interacting with her.I'm so glad he's are orthodontist and I can definitely recommend him!"

Given that I had traditional braces twice in my life and since Iâm an older guy, I was very hesitant about starting this process yet again. I chose the Invisalign process and it has been great. At a little over 5 months my teeth are the best they have been in my life. I highly recommend the Invisalign process to anyone seeking to improve their smile. Itâs fast if you wear the trays as directed. Furthermore, wearing the trays is not intrusive. I forget they are in most of the time.Highly recommend Dr Razz, his team, and the Invisalign process."

"Dr. Rasmussen and his entire staff make this process a great experience! Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. From our intakes where Natalie and Dr. R walked us through the options, long term plan, and financial options with such patience, detail, and care to the actual application of our kiddoâs expander and now braces where Tanya and Valerie take time to walk us through every detail and every step of the process. Tanya even shared what sensations our kid was going to feel when cranking the expander, and Valerie took time to show us how to use the flossing tools so we would feel confident! Natalie was always there to answer questions as they came in and helped us figure out the best financial option! And Dr. R is not up selling anything! He is looking at your kidâs teeth and telling you what is the best for your particular case. This is dedicated customer service with great care for each patient! "Our Family is so pleased with Shaw Orthodontics! My 9 year old son was referred to Shaw Orthodontist by his Dentist. We were able to quickly book an appointment with Dr. Rasmussen. On the day of my sonâs appointment, we were made welcome in their office almost instantaneously. Natalie went over my sonâs treatment plan and broke down the cost, something that I was worried about. The payment plan options were much appreciated!!! Dr. Rasmussen came in and spent time with us. He thoroughly explained the phase one treatment plan and took time to really make sure that I was comfortable and understood the process. My son got his braces put on that same day!Over the course of his treatment, my son had a few hiccups as far as a broken bracket and loose wires, due to eating harder foods that he wasnât supposed to eat đŹ. Holly was always able to squeeze us in and the team was able to fix the problem and get his mouth back to feeling more comfortable.1/26/23 Today my son got his braces off and we are thrilled with the results! It was hard to believe that my sonâs teeth could change in such a short period of time. His new smile is such a confidence booster for himself. "Dr. Shaw did amazing work with my sons teeth. We had a few obstacles with two bottom teeth growing in angled and had to have surgery based on Dr. Shawâs recommendation. We felt nervous at first but followed his advise. After his surgery Dr. Shaw took over and started working his magic. 2 years later my son got his braces off and we couldnât be more pleased. His office staff is also great, and they were extremely helpful in answering all questions during treatment. Would highly recommend Dr. Shaw if your looking for an orthodontist."

"Dr. Shaw loves what he does and it shows. My oldest went through braces with another provider, but during the covid shutdown her retainer broke. Upon reopening, her orthodontistâs office manager said they wouldnât see her for a few weeks because their focus was on patients in treatment. Dr. Shaw helped us get her fixed up with a new retainer very quickly. With my second child, we decided to use Dr. Shaw for braces. We have been very happy with the care he has provided. I always feel like we are valued and appreciated by his entire staff."

"Update! They matched one quote we got for the expander and we stayed for braces!! Everyone there is so nice and Dr. Shaw is fun and really cares!! They had annual parties at a trampoline park for patients before covid. Sheâs 12 now and got her braces off today and weâre SO happy!! Lilly was super patient with my girl who could NOT stand the glue removal.We have only been there twice to get my daughter an expander recommended by the dentist. So far we love everyone there, the entire staff is incredibly sweet and fully answered all of my 8 year old and my questions. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is because they are quite a bit more expensive than other quotes I've gotten. I'm hoping we can afford to stay there to get my girls braces too."

"We are sooo so pleased with Shaw Orthodontics in Watauga. My child had a previous retainer from a pallet expansion, and the first day we went in to see Dr Shaw he was able to evaluate her teeth, remove the retainer and go ahead with braces that same day. They worked with my financial needs and helped me set up a workable payment plan.Weâve been in treatment with Dr Shawâs office now for almost 2 years and they always do a fantastic job. The staff and techs are high energy and always friendly, and Shaw is very outgoing and funny. If a bracket breaks or a wire is poking, Iâm able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time for my daughter. Shawâs office is always going fun contests and prize drawings, and cool Instagram and FB contests. My kiddos treatment is nearing the end, so weâll be sad to not see this doc anymore. Though I may consider Invisalign in the future for myself. I would definitely come here!"

"Hands down the best experience for my 11yo daughter. She was super nervous to get braces at first but Dr Shaw & staff made her feel so welcomed and explained every bit of the process step by step. The environment is very well kept, bright and clean. She loved the swag bag, which is not just your typical toothbrush kit, it was full of nice snacks which made her feel more at ease knowing she can still enjoy great snacks! The nice surprise at the end was fun and turned in her âprescriptionâ (coupon) for free ice cream across the street at Baskin Robins(: she enjoyed the treat! Definitely a great place. "So impressed by this place. Had a wire come loose from the glue on my permanent retainer and needed it fixed. The orthodontist that did my braces is about a 6hr drive from the metroplex so I began my search for someone closer to possibly fix my wire. "Today was our first visit. Upon walking in all of the staff was smiling and welcomed us. The facility is beautiful. They were very fast getting us back too! When we went in the room Dr Shaw came in and the thing I liked most was that he actually talked to my 10 year old daughter's and listened to any questions or concerns that they had. He was very thorough and explained everything so that not just I, but they understood. Brooke was amazing as well. They tell you they can find a way for you to be able to pay and they mean it. They are willing to work with what you can do so that you don't have to pick which kid goes first on treatment. I literally can not say enough good things about this place! We will be returning after the first of the year to get my girls their braces. Thanks Shaw Orthodontics for a wonderful experience!"

"This morning, my son informed me that he only had three bands for his braces left, which meant we would have to get some more today. This would not usually be a problem, except that we just moved to Rockwall and his Orthodontist is in Allen. And this is Thanksgiving week, so they may or may not be open tomorrow. I asked him to google an Orthodontist office that was nearby and we would see if they would sell us a package. I had no idea whether or not Orthodontist would give bands to people who were not their patients.He found Shaw Orthodontics, which was 9 min. away. When we made it there, I went to the door, praying that they would sell us a package. The door was locked and as I was walking away trying to decide which way to go next, Brooke opened the door and said they were "kinda opened." She was very sweet and welcoming as I explained my dilemma to her. After figuring out the size he needed, she gave us a complimentary package of bands to hold him over until we could make it to his Orthodontist. We were only there for about 10 min and received excellent customer service from Brooke. She made us feel as if we were her patients and she was taking care of us. If we did not already have an Orthodontist that we loved, we would definitely become patients of Shaw Orthodontist. The patients and staff there are truly blessed to have such a caring staff member. She did not have to let us in. I am so thankful that she did!"
