Meet Dr. Michael Rasmussen

Dr. Rasmussen, known by his patients as Dr. Razz, grew up in Midland, Texas. He competed in Taekwondo and golf at state and national levels throughout his childhood, which taught him the importance of hard work and personal effort.

He's grateful for the chance to help you discover your beautiful, healthy new smile, and can't wait to get to know you and your family.

Education & Experience

Dr. Razz was in the top 15 of his graduating class from the University of Texas at Austin.

He went on to UT's prestigious School of Dentistry at Houston, where he graduated top of his class, served as president of the student body, and won the school's first nationally-recognized Hinman Research Symposium President's Award for his work on researching Craniosynostosis.

Dr. Razz then earned his Master's Degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis where he completed his orthodontic residency.

Finally, Dr. Razz passed the rigorous American Board of Orthodontics certification process to become Board-certified, which involved demonstrating his orthodontic knowledge in front of 18 nationally-recognized orthodontists and researchers.

Dr. Razz continues to attend seminars and conferences around the country in order to provide you with the latest and most up-to-date care.

Outside the Office

Dr. Razz has been happily married to his wife, Danielle, since 2019. They can't wait to welcome a beautiful baby boy to their family in May!

In his free time, Dr. Razz likes to play guitar and travel with Danielle. When he's not dishing up stunning, healthy smiles, Dr. Razz dishes up delicious meals-he and his dental school friends won a local BBQ competition with their buffalo and caramelized onion sliders!
